Join us this school holidays for our front cover workshops

8 July, 2026 at 10 AM-11 July, 2026 at 1 PM

Help us design the front cover of our community storybook!

These school holidays, we’re excited to invite young artists to help design the front cover of our Drawing Us Together 2026 community storybook!

Be inspired by 4 powerful stories from Indigenous student authors, woven together under this year’s NAIDOC theme: '50 Years of Deadly.'

Together we’ll celebrate connection, culture and creativity through art and storytelling.

Little locals can grab an entry form, get designing on the A3 landscape piece of paper, and submit their masterpiece to go in the draw to become our front cover.

All submissions over the school holidays will be considered, before six finalists are chosen. These six finalist artworks will then be voted on by our authors and retailers to determine the winner who will feature in the final book. All finalists will be invited to the awards ceremony in August (date to be confirmed), and the winner will receive a copy of the book.

🖌️ Celebrate culture. Bring our stories to life. Create something special.
